The History

Vignoble Gilbert Chon is a family estate since 1670 in Muscadet, west of the Loire Valley. The Chon family, owner-wine growers, cultivate 70 ha (170 acres) on the finest terroir of the region.

100% Sauvignon Blanc

 

Tasting Note

This 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the west of the Loire Valley shows an expressive and very aromatic nose combining blackcurrant buds, citrus notes (grapefruit, lemon) with a subtle grassy touch typical of Sauvignon. The palate is fresh, carried by a bright saline acidity, and fruitiness all the way. A crisp, luminous Sauvignon Blanc that highlights purity, tension, and drinkability.
