The History

Maison Goichot was created 3 generations ago. Their connection to Burgundy can be found in its terroirs. They work to express their unique character and infinite diversity throughout their Domaines and their wine trading activities. It is one of the last independent trading houses in Burgundy.

 

The Grape

100% Pinot Noir

 

Tasting Note

Dark ruby color. The nose opens with a basket of red and black berries (strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry), evolving into cooked plum and peppery notes. The palate is lively and structured, with a round and supple backbone. Tannins and fruit go hand in hand, and the chewiness matches the power of the secondary aromas.
