The History

Hoopes Family Vineyards is a family owned vineyard and winery dedicated to producing premium, limited production Cabernet Sauvignon. We love wine, and we love farming. Our goal is to capture the truest expression of the Oakville terroir in which our grapes are grown.

The grape

87% Merlot, 7% Malbec, 4% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting note

This red wine has a deep brick color with dark red edges. The aromas jump out of the glass conveying concentrated fruit, extended barrel aging in French oak. Intense Boysenberry and cinnamon spices upfront are backed by vanilla and brown sugar notes. The Palate is rich with ripe cherry, plus, and sandalwood and finish with dry tannins. The grapes are from the heart of the Napa Valley and represent a traditional and structured red blend.
