Chateau Eugenie – Tradition Cahors

The History

According to the local county records, there is traces of wine-growers from the Couture family from 1470, working for the Lord of Albas. And the name of the estate is a tribute to their great-great grandmother Eugénie. Since then, they perpetuate the tradition of the
family with the intergenerational know-how, transmitted from father to son, combined with modern winemaking technics.

The Grape

80% Malbec, 20% Merlot

Tasting Note

This wine develops flavors of red and black fruits, black currant, blackberry, raspberry, cherry, and strawberry with a slightly spicy touch. On the palate, roundness and delicacy with fine tannins.
