Moillard Musigny Grand Cru

The History

At the heart of the Côte de Nuits, Musigny Grand Cru is located on top of Echezeaux plot. This has been a Grand Cru since 1929, before the AOC system.

Located between 260 and 300 meters above sea level, the gradient on this rocky limestone terrace is quite steep (8-14%). Average age of vines: 30 years. The vines are worked using integrated viticulture. Plantations: 10,000 plants per hectare. Yield: 40 hectoliters / hectare.

To taste a Musigny Grand Cru is always a rare experience! This wine will need a few years to fully express its character, complexity and potential! One wil discover floral and mineral aromas with touches of little red fruits, leather and coffee. The palate will surprise you with its length, elegance and balance. Simply incredible!
