The History
The Clos de la Roche is a semi-monopole and has a long history which have involved some adjustment of boundaries between Climates. The Clos de la Roche have been awarded its appellation Grand Cru on 8 December 1936.
This parcel is located around 250m above sea level and faces East. Average age of vines: 35 years. The vines are worked using integrated viticulture. Plantations: 10,000 plants per hectare. Yield: 40 hectoliters / hectare.

This wine gather all the charms from Côte de Nuits: intense aromas of red fruits, with a lightly toasted touch. The attack is delicate and elegant, the finish is powerful, long and bewiching! An intense pleasure for a wonderful wine with a great ageing potential!
