The History
1891 – 1987: Building up tiie trade. Tlie company was founded in Beaune in 1891. At its beginnings, the company was a small trading house, directed by Jean-Baptiste Bejot.
1988 – 2001: From trader to winemaker. The young 27 year-olds, Vincent Sauvstre, who was driven by the same pioneering spirit as his father Roger, took over the family business in 1988.
2002 – 2010: Selected and sustained external growth. During this period, alongside its organic development, the group undertook a series of acquisitions to strengthen its position in its two strategic businesses: winemaking and wine trading.
2011 – 2012: Optimizing production facilities to improve performance. Driven by the success of its acquisitions and the determination to constantly improve customer service, Vincent Sauvestre undertook a massive building programme to add 11,000 sq. m. to the company’s existing facilities.
